      The Dismal Swamp Canal Welcome Center provides travel and tourism information for the state of North Carolina. We offer maps, travel guides and brochures, dog park, trails, and Rest Rooms.

    • Directions

      We are located three miles south of the NC/VA state line on the southbound side of US Highway 17, near South Mills in Camden County. The Dismal Swamp State Park is adjacent to our facility.
